Hunter and Emily began "real preschool" today. Hunter was very excited once he saw the life size Lego castle, and simply said, "Bye, Mom" as he waived his farewell. Emily on the other hand displayed her typical shyness to unfamiliar faces, and then her boistrous protest as I departed. But when went to pick her up, she was playing happily with the other toddlers.
What a refreshing change. I know it's only day one, but I am so pleased with where they're at now.
This morning when we were leaving for school.
After school, playing in the mud puddle created by the emptying of the swimming pool. Note - hours after we've arrived home, he's STILL wearing his "K crown" that he made in class.
